Malcolm Wicks MP, Minister for Energy
Malcolm Wicks MP has served in the Government since 1999 when Tony Blair appointed him a junior Minister in the Department for Education & Employment .
In July 2001 he moved to the Department for Work & Pensions where he was promoted in 2003 to Minister of State for Pensions.
Following the General Election he was appointed Minister for Energy in the Department for Trade and Industry.
In November 2006, he took on the position of Minister of Science and Innovation in the same Department.
Following Gordon Brown's succession as Prime Minister, Malcolm was appointed Minister for Energy in the new Department for Business, Enterprise & Regulatory Reform.
